"In the beginning there was nothing, God said 'let there be light' and there was light"
I don't know why I began this entry with this weirdly manipulated biblical quote, nevertheless, in the spirit of the grand inceptions let me take this opportunity and present to you my monthly blog, 'Entropic Discharge'.
This is the brainchild of my passions, boiling in the confines of my mind and my 4*5 inch moleskin notebook (which was earlier the sole recipient of all this grumbling) and now with newfound courage and adequate spare time, I have finally decided to spill everything on large canvas.
This publication with time will present personal thoughts on topics which are usually discussed in hushed tones among teenagers and delinquents in the back-alleys of suburban towns. From religion to physics, mechanical engineering to shallow social interactions you will find something that piques your interest, but what I can assure is you'll find even more controversial ideas you'll disagree with, but won't be able to do anything about them(spoiler alert, it's my blog).
I realise, I might be jumping all over the place - so before I get ahead of myself, let me introduce the man behind these ramblings.
I am Harikesh, a first year mechanical engineering undergraduate here at Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad - a product of my parent's funding, coaching's persistence and my casual JEE attempt. Even though I am from the city of nawabs I don't introduce myself like that because, who does!
Anyways, I am a cultural Hindu (already wondering what it is? stay tuned! ) with a taste for international hip hop music, cinema(occasionally anime) and great thinkers. My spare time is usually filled with podcasts, books and music when I am not feverishly attempting to write an entry to this ambitious BLOG.
A lot of digression I know but that's how I function - jumping between thoughts, circling back and making unexpected connections. On the contents of these writings, I was initially set to begin writing about technology, like quintessential writers in prominent news outlets, but observing the diversity of people around me I am confident that a little social commentary won't do any harm, because who doesn't like a friendly rant about the systems everyone around is being churned through like hay in a machine.
So yeah expect that too.
And with that we reach the end(not my strongest suit as you can see),hopefully I'll be back on your screen next time and you won't completely hate me for it!
As already mentioned you will be hearing from me at least 30 days from now, till then you can check out my socials and music playlist - Playlist, Good Reads, X ,Reddit(yeah I am not on 'that' platform).
PS: any comment, feedback or criticism is revered and appreciated.
Au revoir !
